I think the engagement for Talon students to roll play was a great experience and a challenge that really makes you think. I felt that one of the main points reinforced during the program is to prepare for multiple contingencies, to have back up plans to your back up plan. I have had a lot of executive training and this was as good as any, and I have had leadership training from some of the biggest training companies in the world.

I loved the program. The program was very interesting and hands on. You got to interact with your team mates and learn from their strengths. I think anyone, whether they be in leadership, or not could really benefit from the Talon Challenge. I would especially like to encourage other women out there to attend, because it was definitely a program that is not gender specific. It was top notch, high class as you can see from the stage and marketing. The trainers and facilitators were all excellent. I don’t think I have had one better than they had here.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Talon Challenge and think it was a great experience for both of us. One big take away was how it takes a team to properly handle any crisis (small or large) and the Talon showed that we truly are a team and not just an employee & boss. The other main take away is that I need to think more about the potential crisis’s that my business could face and what kind of plan’s I need to make to handle those. Also, I’ve never really thought about debriefing to much, but feel it’s something I need to work on in many situations I run into… within Church, family, and work.

I believe this course is a great learning tool for those inexperienced in leading in a crisis. In addition, it is an excellent reminder for those who are experienced in a crisis leadership to have a formal decision making process. The concept of mixing people from different backgrounds is a great way to learn from others too.

This program is an informative and fun approach to start business leaders thinking about how to deal with crisis situations. The debrief process and forms will be very useful at our firehouse. The media instruction was a real eye opener and the exercise fun.

This course gave me some very valuable tools and ideas toward approaching crisis management in a structured and orderly manner. The approach to the 4-C’s. PREP, Strategic Thinking and Debrief activities were some of the best I have ever seen for a course like this.
Milton, FL Fire Chief
This program is wonderful for helping people write their goals and plans out and then follow ups with a tool to evaluate (debrief) why they were met or not met. Envision (starts with the goals), Engage (action steps), Execute (action steps), Execute (did you do them?), Debrief (why did you achieve your goals or not achieve them!) Loved it!

This program did a great job of incorporating creative learning techniques into making regular business decisions and preparing for crisis management.
